I’ve been doing a lot of research on bonsai trees these past few days in preparation of purchasing one.
I had always brushed it off as something stressed out corporate bosses bought to try and calm down. My curiosity was piqued when my girlfriend and I visited The Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s bonsai exhibit.
Many of the trees exhibited were kept and pruned for over 50 years by a single person, then donated to the Garden. That really blew my mind.
My favorite, by far, was the Persian Lilac in the photo above. Beautiful.
