Yesterday I made a huge business decision.

Something that I’ve been contemplating over 2 years. It was not cheap. Like, rent money not cheap. And my current business resources are scarce.

But I pulled the trigger. 

I sat there for a moment after I hung up with the broker and wondered if I made the right decision. I wanted to call him back and cancel.

I texted my girlfriend and told her what I just did.  I sat there staring at the elipses letting me know she was typing. I was embracing myself for the “I can’t believe you just spent that much. Are you sure about this?” response.

“Baby I love you. I’m so proud.”  she said.

A few hours later she came home with a box of macaroons to celebrate. We then went out for drinks.

I don’t know yet if this decision will have any monetary value.

But to find out the people I chose to surround myself with trust and believe in me was worth the admission fee.
