I may not be a huge fan of Alexander Wang personally, but if the report is true about his new job at Balenciaga, I say congratulations. Good for him.

This is a tough business.  Anyone that has attempted to keep with a traditional fashion cycle schedule will tell you this. Even for people like me that are out of the cycle it is grueling. If you can move up and progress I have huge respect for you. It’s wasted energy to have such a constant negative view of the business you choose to work in. It’s poisonous thinking. Alexander and Balenciaga’s success doesn’t dictate my own. I’d rather complain by creating.
