I Sold Out and Started Writing for Four Pins
Check out my first article, “On Selling Out”. I’m sure you can guess what it’s about.

Probably my favorite piece on Four pins by far. No matter what, we are part of some system. And I completely agree with Max’s view.
Selling out in my own opinion requires a level of dishonesty, and dishonesty in any kind of situation can only get you so far. This not only includes selling out to something you have no interest in purely for gain, but not pursuing something you honestly want because you believe there is no possibility of a positive outcome.
Either way, you are selling out.
Stay honest.

  • Lines from The Princess Bride that Double as Comments on Freshman Composition Papers.

    By Jennifer Simonson

“You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”

“At a time like this that’s all you can think to say?”

“Nonsense. You’re only saying that because no one ever has.”

“I don’t think I’m quite familiar with that phrase.”

“I would not say such things if I were you!”

“I do not suppose you could speed things up?”

“That is the sound of ultimate suffering.”

    “Inconceivable!”
